Upcoming Events

  • 24-26 July VBS

    All those interested in hepling with our VBS this summer, please meet at the church for an informational and organizational meeting.  The meeting starts at 6:30.  VBS this year will be Friday evening, July 24 through Saturday morning, July 25.

    Read 69-73 in the devotional in preparation for Sunday worship and sermon.

  • 1 August Men's Breakfast

    Join the men from the area churches for a free full breakfast, fellowship and a speaker.  

  • 3 August Deacons Meeting

    Deacons and pastors will meet at 6:30 to discuss church business and prayer.

  • 4/5 August R & R Groups

    Our small groups will gather to discuss the sermon topics from the last two sermons in John.  One meets on Tuesday and the other meets on Wednesday.

  • 6 August Women's Bible Study

    The women will gather at the church at 10:00 am for Bible study using the book Swords Up. 

    The study will be weekly for 8 weeks.The book is available through the Carpenter Shop in Sanford or on Amazon.  Please let us know if you plan on attending.

    Read 74-77 in the devotional in preparation for Sunday worship and sermon.

  • 12 August Prayer Time

    Meet with others to pray, together or alone at the church.  The church is open for this from 6:30 to 7:30.

  • 13 August Women's Swords Up study

    A women's Bible study using the study book Swords Up.  Meets at 10:00 am at the church.

    Join with the area churches as we gather at Moncure Baptist for a time of singing and worship together.  Starts at 6:30 pm.

  • 19-20 Speptember MBC Family Day Weekend

    This year we have as our gust speaker Gery Webber, author of the devotional we have been using in our study of the Gospel of John. He is also a pastor of a church in Florida and has authoered other books as well.  He will speak on Saturday evening at a pizza party starting at 5:30 pm about his testimony.  Then he will be our speaker Sunday morning during worship.  A potluck meal will be served after worship.
